Corinth Baptist on Missions
As we seek to be biblical in all of our church ministries, Corinth desires to cooperate in local, regional, North American, and international missions. We see this as our duty and priviledge in accordance with Acts 1:8.
Past Trips:
In the past, we have served in five states over the last 8 years. We have facilitated a Bible School for 2 apartment complexes in Elizabethton, TN; helped New Creek Baptist Church in Keyser, West Virginia, with Vacation Bible School, outreach and the building of a baptismal pool; LeMoyne Baptist Church in Biloxi, Mississippi, with aid to the Hurricane Katrina victims; Munsey Creek Baptist Church near Hyden, Kentucky, with church planting; and in our own community in South Carolina with many projects. In 2010, we took a team of 3 people to southern India, where we facilitated crusades and helped to strengthen the blossoming church in India. As an on-mission church, we are realizing the Great Commission, "...teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."

When asked to write about my experiences on the mission trip to Mississippi it has been hard to say all that is in my heart. The fellowship, the unity, the joy and laughter that seemed to be in everything we were given to do. Most of all was how God moved on our behalf. To tell all the things would take to long, but here is just a few.
The first morning we went to work at a couple's home Frank needed to ask an important question of one of the overseers, just as Joel began calling him on the cell phone he pulled up. We found out a little later he had left his cell phone at home. Next we had to move a ten-foot by ten food wooden building back onto it's foundation due to the storm surge. We had earlier bought a ten foot 4 x 4 post to use somewhere else. We had planned to rent a floor jack to lift the building and move it but there were none available. God had something better in mind to show us that all things are possible through God. Using only that 4 x 4 and some cement blocks we set that heavy building back on its foundation without any damage to it at all. Thanks to God we finished the house and after living in a camper for over a year the couple got to move back home.
The main thing I came away with on this mission trip was if your a child of Gods, operating in His Will, the fruit of the Spirit Paul writes about in Gal. 5:22-23 will whine in each of us. To live the rest of my life on this earth as a child of God, operating in His Will, doing the things He would have me to do, I can see nothing better, other than being in His presence.
God Bless,

from Renee Adams:
My experience on this Mission trip was a BIG ONE! We all had such a great time and it is an experience I will never forget Everyone told me before I went that once you go you will always want to go back. Well, they were right! I can't wait to go back in April. It will be something I always carry in my heart and have a heart for doing.
It was really no problem getting up in the morning early enough to read a devotion and get ready to do some work. I just can't believe how everything went so smoothly. You could tell that God had His hands on us at all times. When all the guys were talking about moving the building and all the work that would have to go into it and how hard it was going to be, but after they got started it was nothing for them to move it. They all had a plan that just came together and they moved it!! I think that was the best day while we were there. I can remember another day we were working at a house we called Hollywood, I was just pulling nails out of the walls and it was getting dark, I was pulling those nails out as fast as I could and I said "man I wish it wasn't getting dark, I sure would like to get all these nails out of here!" I would never say that at my work place! Everyday I'm ready to leave as fast as I can! It just shows how the Lord really gives you the strength and the desire to do his work and will supply all your needs if your in his will.
I can say that this was one of the biggest highlights of my life. We all got to know each other so much better. I love each and everyone that went with us and I can't wait to go again!
God Bless,
Renee Adams

Corinth Baptist Partners with Lemoyne Baptist Church
We have witnessed one of the most traumatic periods in our nation's history with the devastating impact of hurricane Katrina as well as hurricane Rita. While the devastation took place in hours, recovery will take years.
Their tragedies provide an amazing opportunity for Corinth Baptist to show what Christ-followers do when the bottom falls out. We stand up and step forward to do what it takes. There are many communities in need of help, but God called us to partner with Lemoyne Baptist Church in Biloxi. This area did not receive the attention that New Orleans did, but the destruction in this area was huge. We wanted to partner with a church that was trying to minister to the people in the community no matter what their religious background. The desire of this ministry is to show the Love of Christ to all.
